Hello
simple question:
I'm trying to have video calls between 1 PC with Jabber softphone only (without deskphone) and a a PC with jabber softphone connecting to 7962 phones.
I installed Medianet on the both PC.
It does not work.
I read that medianet add CDP drivers for Jabber.
Does it mean that we need CDP enable on the switches on which the PC and phones are connected ?
thx for your help

Hi
You need
- CDP enabled on the phones
- 'Video Capabilities' enabled on the phone (Product Specific Configuration section)
- The PC you are running Jabber on needs to be attached to the PC port of the desk phone you are controlling
CDP isn't needed on the switches.

thx for your answer,
I checked all these conditions and it does not works.....
PC with medianet and jabber 9.1.0 ------ network ------ 7962 ------ PC with Medianet and Jabber 9.1.0
When i choose the PC icon on jabber video is ok between the 2 PCs
When I choose the phone ican, video does not start. furthermore, it seems that communication stays between the phone and the remote PC. I have no rtp between the 2 PC and no video....
Have you an idea ?
thx
