Jabber 9.1 for Windows not resolving users via ldap/AD on Windows 8

Had a user bring in his new dell XPS 12" ultrabook with windows 8 on it.

Connected it to our vpn via a cell hotspot. It could not lookup users in Active Directory you could message them if you used their email address but it would not pull up their full profile.

Could be one of two things - maybe no Windows 8 support yet, or maybe that PC isn't a domain member?

I presume you are using EDI, have you tried switching to a username/password pair for the AD auth?

Or try using UDS if your CUCM is AD synched.
