Can anyone assist in briefly explaining what each folder is within
AppData\Local\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF
AppData\Roaming\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF
AppData\JabberWerxCPP
We are looking at making roaming profiles using appsense for Jabber to work and keep its chat history and config when on Citrix/Thinclients, so need to see which folders to copy across to the network and back when launching Jabber.
So any folders and files that are not needed we will not copy, ensuring only the mandatory folders/files such as the 'CSF\History' folder and it's content in the Appdata path, which contains the users entire chat history.
The folders I see are as follows
Appdata\Local\
- cef_chace
- Contacts
- History *** This and all it's content should be copied to keep chat history ***
- IMP Cache
- Logs
- Photo Cache
- Telemetry
- Upgrades
Appdata\Roaming\
- Config *** Assume this and all it's content should be copied to keep the app settings under File -> Options***
- Credentials
- CustomEmotions
- Security
Not sure about the rest of the folders and their content, some folders are empty, and I assume some Jabber will re-create at each launch.
