I have many users that are now working from home. Some of them do not have voice mail because their job duties don't require it. They were given Jabber for Windows to use as a softphone for home use. Several times a day, I get multiple notifications that they failed to authenticate to Unity Connection. I have built a special profile for these users and removed anything that pointed at Unity Connection and I still get the notifications. I could turn the notifications off in RTMT but I use these alerts to look for hackers trying to break into a mailbox. I have attempted to adjust the alert in RTMT but nothing I have tried has stopped the alerts.
Is there a way to stop Jabber from attempting to log into voicemail?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
After disabling the voicemail parameter in jabber-config.xml, have you tried resetting the jabber and clearing the cache.

Aside from not assigning VM in the service profile, you can also try to disable VM in jabber via the .xml
