I entered a custom status with a few non-standard characters into Jabber and then my status changed to offline and I cant change it now. I tried reinstalling and wiping the entire C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF folder.
Can someone please help me fix this?

Interesting, version??? on-prem or WebEx??
If on-prem, server versions??

Jabber client is 10.6
Servers are on-prem 9.1
Pretty certain these statuses are sent to the server. I logged into jabber on another PC and the status is still set to Offline. No clue how to wipe them off the server.

Disabling then re-enabling my user account for presence in CUCM fixed the issue!

Thanks for sharing, I haven't heard of that before, just out of curiosity, what non-standard characters you used in the status??

I just had the same problem happen to me yesterday afternoon. Can confirm that disabling and re-enabling the account in CUCM works.
