'Cannot Communicate with the server' this error message is old but it is strange in my case.
I have 5000+ users that are using jabber for quite long but recently 4 users are reporting that they cannot login all of a sudden with the above error message. Since it was all good and I do not think the issue is with DNS entries.
However, I verified the following, please help me to figure this out.
1. On CUCM, system > server web page > I see, 3 CUCM nodes with IP addresses and 2 IM&P nodes with FQDN.
2. verified assign presence user
3. Jabber manaul reset
4. Delete AppData jabber config files.
5. Disable service setting under end user page.
Not sure what is causing this problem.
The same users can login through MRA but the problem is on internal network on windows machines.
