Hello, I just want to ask about the Jabber for Everyone. I have been searching on how to configure it but apparently I could not find a resource for it. I only know that it uses the same installer as the Jabber for Windows or Jabber for Android. If that is the case, I was wondering how does it differ in configuration? Hope someone can help.
Thank you.

Yes, remove all the voice endpoints you created in CUCM for Jabber, to leave only IM and presence as features available..

Jabber for everyone is just a term, it means you can only configure IM and presence with the Jabber clients without a license. No voice capabilities. That's it. If you want to go full UC, then you need licenses.

Hello Jaime,
I have already deployed Jabber for Windows and Android. And they all have voice and video capabilities and also use-up licenses. How do I configure it in such a way that it will only be used for IM and does not use-up a license?

Remove all the voice config from CUCM, all the devices you configured there.

What do you mean? Remove the CSF devices?

Thanks Jaime! So for all of you guys, what I did was you don't have to create CSF, BOT, TCT devices for those users who will use Jabber for Everyone or "Jabber IM Only". You just have to enable the IMP for those users under User Management. That's it!

Just curious how desk phone control through CTI works? This is still included with Jabber for Everyone licensing, correct?
Thanks,
Aaron
