In the latest Jabber 14 they added the option to disable the FTE (EnableFTE) but this only works for reset or clear cache.
Is there no way to disable that First time experience in general? I think they added this in 12.8 or 12.9.
It blocks Jabber functions and i think you also dont get chat or phone notifications until you clicked through all that FTE windows.
Its very annoying because in our environment jabber autostarts with windows and not always people look at the main screen and see and klick through that FTE windows in the first place.

Nothing mentioned about EnableFTE on Parameters Reference guide for jabber 12.8 and 12.9. So this might be introduced with version 14.

hi there
Reading the ref guide, I could see that FTE can be disabled using the configuration file.
EnableFTE Applies to Windows Cisco Jabber clients.
Specifies whether the user sees the first time experience after Jabber is reset or the cache cleared.
• true (default)—First time experience dialog is enabled after a reset or cache clearing.
• false—First time experience dialog is disabled after a reset or cache clearing.
Example: <EnableFTE>false</EnableFTE>

Guys, that was exactly what i said in my first post... Yes, they added the option to disable fte in Jabber 14 and i added it to my config.
But the problem is that this setting only works for reset or clear cache and not in general. (Specifies whether the user sees the first time experience after Jabber is reset or the cache cleared)
I need a way to disable fte in general COMPLETELY so that a user does not get it when he first gets upgraded to the latest version or starts jabber for the first time ever.
