jabber IM search

Our remote users are using jabber 9.1.3 and Cisco anyconnect, however most are unable to search for other users on their windows machines (win 7 pro) but can search on their iPhone or android. What is the conflict?

Are you using default EDI (LDAP) search on J4W or CUCM UDS directory?  iPhone Jabber work differently as they pull the directory information from the configuration on the UC service/profile.

Our CUCM is linked to our active directory LDAP

Fine, but that means nothing to Jabber for Windows, the default setup is for J4W to use EDI (active directory), if you want to point to UDS (directory on CUCM) which might be the same depending on your LDAP integration you need to edit the jabber-config.xml file.

Thanks I will look at this tonight. Third party company set this up but we are trying to take over and get some of the "kinks" worked out. Appreciate the responses
