Hi,
I have a user who is using a phone (7945) that has two lines configured

Line one label of Tina, line two is testingcenter.

In Jabber 12.7, Line two show its name correctly, lin one is showing Lisa P., A person who has not been with the company for 7 years!

The only thing that is common between the two ladies was the extension.

The hardware has been changed,

The PC has been changed 3 times,

Lisa was deleted from AD. - Normally accounts are just disabled.

Deleted Jabber, Deleted the App Data Folders for Jabber.
I for the life of me cannot figure out where Jabber is pulling this name from for line one!
Help! and thanks in advance.

Can you screenshot the device name Help > Show Connection Status > Deskphone and then screenshot the CUCM Line Text Label field for this Line Appearance, being sure to get the Device Name on the page in the screenshot for comparison?

Here's a line 2 example, but this shows the relationship between the settings and apps.

Hi Anthony,

Thanks for the reply.

This user only has the one device and it is the only phone in the company with the extension 1100 on it.

She does not have a CSF device so Jabber is only controlling the phone.

The Line Label on the device says T.H.

The Line Label in Jabber says Lisa P.

I have been setting up phones and Jabber for five years now and never come across this issue before. I understand Jabber Multiline is not that old but still.

This thing that is really weird is that Lisa has not been at that extension; or the company for over five years.

> She does not have a CSF...
> The Line Label in Jabber says Lisa P.

You just said two contradicting statements there. How can the line label exist in Jabber, if there is no CSF for it to exist on?

Can you share screenshots with us to prove what you're saying? Take a screenshot just like I did so we can see all the important pieces in one shot.

Did you get this resolved?  I have the same issue and I have TAC looking into it.

What worked for us was to delete the DN connected to the deskphone, then add it back.

Deleting the DNs and re-creating them works like a dream. Thank you Devin.Weber

You're most welcome!!  We're running CUCM 10.5.2...maybe it's a possible bug that was brought to light with Jabber 12.7.1 enhancements.  I was really hoping the TAC engineer would pull up the DN details from the CUCM database and have a script to run to replace the name....but not so much.
