Jabber Muting Alerts for a group

How do I mute Notifications/ Alerts for a room? Ex- If I am part of 10 chat groups and if I only want to receive notifications for 2 chat rooms (on a given day), how do I do that? quick google search showing me this solution---Click Information

and select Mute this room. 

but I don't see this option  for information anywhere in Jabber CHAT rooms!!!!

Hi... Once you are logged into Jabber then click on the "gear" icon on the top right corner where you have the minimize/maximize options, then click on "Settings". It will open a new window where you need to go to "Notifications" tab. That's where you can control all sorts of notification settings.

It is a mess where this little option is hidden. I searched my self by the second time using it for over 15 Minutes... Anyway here it is in 2 steps:

1. You open the groupchat. At the very top there is a encircled "i" direct to the groupchats name. click on that.

2. A hovering in window popup has opend that shows the members etc. Above the grouplist members are two buttons. One says something like "Mute" click it.
