Hi,
What is the main cause why I can't make use of my Phone services on my Jabber when I am connected outside the network? It works fine internally.
Please see attached screenshots.
Thanks,
Danica

Dear,
What is your setup here?
Do you have VCS-C, VCS-E?
Thanks,

Hi Laith, I used Expressway Core and Edge (version 8.5.1), CUCM and CIMP. Thanks.

Try upgrading both VCS-E & VCS-C to the version X8.5.3,
I applied this version to a project of mine and it is working perfectly,
Assuming of course you have done your homework regarding certificates and CUCM mixed security mode.

Hi,
Actually we used the version x8.5.3 but it didn't worked on us on Windows and Android so we've decided to downgrade it and worked fine internally. But also, we still have problem on phone services outside.
Thanks.

Jabber Internally doesn't need VCS-E or VCS-C,
it works directly with Cisco CUPS & CUCM

Yeah, but what will be the main reason why the phone services is not available on outside call? Although I can log-in and able to use chat.
Thanks.

I happened to face some call issues from outside, but i was having some certificate errors
make sure the certificate setup is correct and the CUCM is working on mixed security mode to support Secure SIP.

By far the most common reason is the firewall and NAT configuration is wrong. Check Appendix 3 and 4 of the Cisco Expressway Basic Configuration Deployment Guide (X8.1) to make sure you have the ports correct and Expressway-E can talk to itself using NAT Reflection.
