Jabber Photos, Report a problem and Server location

Does the Jabber Photo Server and Report a Problem server need to be on the inside or outside of our network. If I put them inside and whitelist the server in the VCS-C/E will jabber reach back in via the tunnel and pull photos and upload problem reports?

Where is the best place to put these servers?

Yes, if you include the servers on the Expressway HTTP Reverse Proxy whitelist Jabber will access them through MRA. They need to be referenced by FQDN in the Jabber config files, not IP.

Since the HTTP server for these functions is not performing user authentication I asvise against exposing them on the public internet.
