Hello,
i may be wrong but I was pretty sure that EDI in Jabber for Windows 11.7 would default to using a local DC (based on AD Site). Have I remembered that incorrectly?
This no longer seems to be true of Jabber 11.8 CDI, which is selecting any DC in the domain. Is there a way to configure CDI to use the AD site aware and select local DC/LDAP server?
Thanks,
Peter

Looks like a known issue, found this:

Not so much a known "issue", but a change in the way Jabber works, that is an enhancement request to revert back to the way it worked pre 11.8.
Aside from just configuring the local DC SRV records, the other option would be to hardcode the config for the users in the service profile.
