Hi,
If you have selected "Start Cisco Jabber When My Computer Starts" then it should work. Also, have you tried using
"Start_Client_On_Start_OS" options parameter in jabber-config.xml file.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <config version="1.0"> <Options> <Start_Client_On_Start_OS>true</Start_Client_On_Start_OS> </Options> </config>

Hi Yes,
The item is ticket. and when I look at the startup items for Windows Jabber appears. but is not running as a windows process.
that I can task switch to.
Where is that xml file located and I can check that.
is it possible that a we could have
a) antivirus that blocks - if so what folder or file exclusions should add,
b) group policy that is not allowing the change, or service from running.
Anything you can point me at would be of great help.
There must be a list of what is needed to be enabled / allowed on the machine for autostart to work correctly.
Thanks Very much
Shaun

the problem with the automatic update feature is the end user need admin rights. and by silent unattended install the problem we face is the update closes the jabber process and after the update it wont relaunch the process automatically so people wont notice jabber is closed...
