Jenkins Spark Notifier Plugin - Pipeline support

Hi,

The Jenkins Spark Notifier plugin (Spark Notifier Plugin - Jenkins - Jenkins Wiki) allows sending spark messages from a plain jenkins job. Are there plans to also allow sending messages from a jenkins pipeline script?

The slack plugin (Slack Plugin - Jenkins - Jenkins Wiki) allows to do so, using the slackSend command.
