Login Cisco Jabber using flexible JID with email

Hi all, 

I have one deployment for Cisco Jabber that require to login with flexible JID with email. I had modify & sync the directory URI section under LDAP directory and was showing correctly in end user page. 

Under Cisco IM & Presence, I had modified the IM Address Scheme to "Directory URI" and restart the necessary services, "jabber-config.xml" below had changed as well but problem still persist.

Jabber application was able to login with user ID (ex, 12345678) but not flexible JID (ex, user@company.com), any advice that I need to make change?

You should look at the current parameter reference guide and update your XML configuration file as you seem to use deprecated configuration items. Parameters Reference Guide for Cisco Jabber 12.9

Also it might help if you mention the versions of various components that you use as that would give us a better starting point to help you out.

Do the users show the correct value under IM address in presence topology?

Have you updated, if required, the SRVs?

Have you either performed a Jabber reset or deleted the local folders?

The IM address in presence topology was configured correct on all nodes

I believe that the SRVs does not required as because the domain was same and just the userID@domain change it to email@domain only.

I had done Jabber reset and reinstall the application (but did not delete the local folders).

Refer the attached image on the configuration Directory URI in CUCM was mapped to mail,

while IM address scheme was mapped to Directory URI as well. 

I believe that the Default Domain was not in used as my case was using directory URI as the attributes.

The Default Domain is only used when the IM Address Scheme is "UserID@[Default Domain]"
