If I wanted to upgrade from one major release to another (for example, 11.5 to 12.5) my process has been to upgrade Unity, CCX, CER, etc. all before upgrading Call Manager.
Picking on Unity, I cannot find any specific documents that say "Unity must go first", but when I read the compatibility matrix, it would seem logical to conclude Unity must upgrade first. For example, Unity 11.5 does not say it is supported with Call Manager 12.5, so I am assuming there is risk if I do not upgrade in a specific order.
I would like to know if there is a guide or document out there which illustrates this, maybe reasons why, and, of course, I am open to any opinions.
