Hi everyone, I have a problem with the recording system while an agent puts a call on hold, the recording system accepts
this in the SIP message as BYE - the recording system does not know how to combine the two calls into one call after the agent takes off hold
Can this be changed?

Which recording system is it? Wouldn't it make more sense, to ask this question in the forum of the recording system manufacturer?
This is a Cisco forum and I doubt, anybody here will be able to help you with a 3rd party system.

Hi, thanks for the answer, I know this is a Cisco forum, but the "problem" is happening on the Cucm side, and my question is whether it is possible to change the BYE sent in sip.

Maybe you start by clarifying precisely, who is sending the BYE. This isn't stated clearly enough in your messages.
Reading your first post, I would assume the recording system is sending the BYE.
And as you didn't attach any logs, it's just assuming or glass ball reading ...

No .. so I will explain again the one who sends the BYE message is the CUCM
