Hi,
Does Cisco or any third party have any tools that are able to gather historical reports on Jabber clients? I'm looking for away to put some metrics around things such as login/logout, number IMs, number of calls, etc. The IM&P interface seems to simply show a snapshot of the current logged in users, but that's about it.
What about Prime Assurance? Are there any reporting options in Assurance for Jabber?
thx,
rob

Nothing out of the box,
you would probably add a compliance server to archive IM activities and combine that with the number of logged in user. The compliance server would give you an idea of how intense the system is used, but will not give you any insight in login/out times I m afraid.
I can't comment on Prime assurance I'm afraid

You can open RTMT for IMP server and go to Tab IM and Presence. you will find some parameters for tracking performance of server and how many active sessions are going on. And yes , if you want to track and store the IM received , then you should go for compliance server.
