Hello,
We have Cisco Jabber MRA for remote users, they can use Cisco Jabber chat and voice features without using VPN on Windows, MAC and Mobile devices. Now we want to restrict a team (20 users) to connect VPN for using Cisco Jabber. Its only for windows and MAC users, they can connect VPN first then use Cisco Jabber.
I found manual process by adding dummy ip address for our VCSE address in hosts file. i prefer not to change hosts file on end user personal computers.
Is there a way we restrict from Jabber profile per user?
Or we can add manual entry in Jabber-Config.xml file?
I opened a ticket with Cisco too, apparently this feature is not available.
thanks for your help.

This feature is supported in the latest version of CUCM 12.0 (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/12_0_1/systemConfig/cucm_b_system-configuration-guide-1201/cucm_b_system-configuration-guide-1201_chapter_0110111.html#task_F3E0C536FD10B3E92C338CF12BB33721) and Expressway x8.10.4 (https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/expressway/release_note/Cisco-Expressway-Release-Note-X8-10-4.pdf#page9); however, Jabber has yet to implement support for it client-side. Keep an eye on the release notes or ask your Cisco AM for roadmap details.
