Hi All,
Our clients are migrating from the movi to jabber.
For the video call with poor network country, packet lost is always reported. However, the client observed the Movi is better than Jabber in video quality with non-optimal network.
In Movi administrator guide ,it mention Automatic bandwidth adaptation and ClearPath to minimizes the negative effects of packet loss in a non-optimal network.
May I know any similar mechanism in Jabber to minimize the negative effect?
Many thanks.
Ben

Hi there
Cisco Jabber uses video rate adaptation to negotiate optimum video quality. Video rate adaptation dynamically increases or decreases video bit rate throughput to handle real-time variations on available IP path bandwidth.
Cisco Jabber users should expect video calls to begin at lower resolution and scale upwards to higher resolution over a short period of time. Cisco Jabber saves history so that subsequent video calls should begin at the optimal resolution.
Hope this helps!
Cheers
