Unable to receive calls in Jabber IPAD

Hi,

I am able to register jabber for IPAD on CUCM 8.6.2 and i can make calls from my Jabber IPad to Cisco IP phone or to PSTN, but when i try to call from Cisco IP phone to Jabber no luck!!!!

Any help

Hi

Pls verify CSS and be aware that the current Jabber for iPad version doesn't support G.729 codec.

any solution for this? trancoding can help?

Hi

If G.729 is your problem

1) Add transcoders on the site that has the ipads

- or -

2) Create a new device pool and new region; put the ipad in that device pool. It can be a copy of the existing device pool with just the region changed. Then set the region so that it runs g711 to every other region on the system.

Phones: iPad and 7941

they are located in different cluster but both sites configured transcoder. No issue calling from iPad to 7941 and transcode is engaged for this call, but when calling from 7941 to iPad, it fails and I notice transcoded was not engaged.
