Unity Connection 11.5 SIP Integration to Avaya System Manager 7.X

Has anyone done a direct SIP Integration from Cisco Unity Connection to Avaya System Manager? I setup the phone system and ports/port groups but when trying to call in from Avaya I keep getting a 400 Bad Request 'Invalid SDP Information' on the Avaya SIP trace.

Any ideas?

Wowza, this is a throwback. What does the SIP trace look like? SDP offer/answer details?

There isn’t a lot of documentation for these old interop stories up anymore. The only link left that I’m aware of is http://cisco.com/go/interoperability but that is mostly focused on CUBE. 

Haha yea we still have some dinosaurs in our environment that are slowly being phased out. The SIP trace from Avaya was very generic with no helpful information that would indicate the underlying issue. I believe I found my answer, it seems the only way I can integrate the Avaya SM to Unity is to pass everything through Call Manager. I am going to build a SIP trunk from Avaya SM to my CUCM which is already integrated with Unity. I found this document to help

Did you ever get this working?  That link doesn't appear to be valid anymore.  I'm trying to accomplish the exact same thing.
