Windows Jabber 9.X - Saved Password Encryption Is What?

RITR

Anyone know the encryption used when you save your credentials in Jabber 9.1?

I know the credentials are stored the folder here (in Windows 7):

%userprofile%\appdata\Roaming\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF\Credentials

In two files:

Random 40 characters.sav

and

rememberedProfile.sav

As policy at my company, we don't allow users to save credentials. But to make it on easier on end-users and help spure adoption I would like to grant users to save their creds for Jabber. Obviously, we can only authorize this if a suitable encryption method is used.

It would be nice if Cisco could respond to this directly.

That kind of info is not publicly available, engage your SE/AM for this matter. You might need to sign an NDA for it.
