Standardizing Icons across Local Communities not only demonstrates the overall organization of the Cisco Community, but also strengthens integration between Local Communities by making navigation easier for Members who speak more than one language.
To give a simple example: How to use the Community has the following Icons:
Why not have just one standardized icon related to How to use the Community for all Local Communities ?

I would like to see Cisco Learning Network within the Cisco Community, just as we have Cisco Insider today (which contains the Cisco Insider Advocacy and Cisco Insider User Group).
I believe that in this way:
intersections would decrease (group of people who use both Communities generally post on both to reach people who only use a specific Community)
each Community would bring all its Members into the same space and therefore, Post, Suggestions and Ideas would not be scattered in different spaces.

When I scroll through the list of threads, 1080p only fits four threads at a time. There's a good deal of dead space between the separator and thread title, and it looks like the like button takes up more vertical space than the thread preview. A compact view would improve readability.

I'd like to be able to search for content and/or tags within my previous replies, so often I'm answering someone and I think "I already wrote an answer that covers this" (or something similar). And these days, Google has got worse at finding them.
So when I click on My Subscriptions, or Subscriptions & Notifications under My Settings PLEAS add a search function there with options to
[x] Show only accepted answers
[x] Only posts with certain tags
[x] Posts within a time range
And maybe other useful search restrictions

One challenge many community members face is finding the exact thread, solution, or documentation they need—especially when keywords vary or when older content holds the answer but is buried deep. My idea is to introduce an AI-powered smart search tool within the Cisco Community. This search engine could: Understand natural language queries (e.g., “How do I configure VPN on ASA 5506-X?”) and match them with the most relevant posts. Summarize long forum threads into key points or solutions. Highlight official Cisco docs and related discussions in a single result panel. Suggest similar questions asked in the past to reduce duplicate posts. This would save members time, improve engagement, and make the wealth of Cisco Community knowledge more accessible for both new and experienced users. What do you think—would an AI-powered search make your Cisco Community experience faster and more productive?

- Create a volunteer mentoring system, connecting experienced professionals with beginners, divided into topics such as R&S, Security, Data Center, and others. - Conduct quick surveys and weekly technical challenges to encourage participation and the exchange of experiences among members. - Have an exclusive area for practical labs, with ready-made topologies for Packet Tracer, GNS3, and EVE-NG, organized by level (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE).

Hi
After a few years of being in the Community, I seem to have accumulated over 280 pages of Subscriptions (each page has 10 links) because I chose to receive an email for any posting I was involved in. That's how I want to operate, because people do send follow ups on topics that were discussed a long time ago. But occasionally, a topic gets too busy or someone tagged me in a topic, and as a result now I am receiving emails constantly (not of my own choosing).
You can navigate to Manage My Subscriptions, and delete individual subscription posts, but finding a specific one is very hard, especially because only 10 subscriptions are displayed per page - I would like a search feature to allow me to search the subject line. E.g. below - there is no search feature (alternatively, if there was a drop down to allow "show all" then I could use the browser search feature)
The email that I receive does contain an Unsubscribe link - however, that turns off ALL emails for the Community - I don't want that.

Hi Team, It will be a good option to have a Cisco Community Application to make participation faster, easier and help both new and experienced members contribute more effectively from there mobile applications.

In navigating in the DevNet community space, I noticed that the groups that come up aren't in order/don't seem to reflect the ones with the most traffic. So if I go to https://community.cisco.com/t5/devnet-hub/ct-p/4409j-developer-home and click on DevNet Collaboration, it lists 5 topics, but not say Contact Center. However if you navigate there, Contact Center is the 2nd busiest group (you can see it here) https://community.cisco.com/t5/devnet-collaboration/ct-p/j-developer-collab
So I guess the question is, what logic dictates what groups are shown when you're navigating in this manner? I would've thought it would be alphabetical or by most posts, but in this case it is neither? It would seem that it would be good if there was a consistent approach (show all groups without having to hit more, sort by alphabetical order, etc.)

Given that we are in the AI era, why not integrate the Cisco community with an AI tool that allows users to ask questions and receive results based on previous posts that already have solutions?
This provides more frequently asked questions that are indexed and ready to use. However, the user remains unsatisfied and can still post questions related to these.
I've referred to posts 1, 2, and 3, but I'm still looking for some help with this kind of post.

To better serve Cisco community and improve search experience within the Cisco Community, I recommend enhancing the search functionality by implementing contextual keyword recognition.
Currently, the search feature in the Community appears to rely on static or exact-match queries. This often leads to less relevant results, especially when users phrase their questions naturally or use different terminology.
A more intelligent search engine that extracts and uses key words from user queries (rather than matching whole sentences or exact phrases) could dramatically improve result relevance. Adding natural language processing or AI-driven keyword parsing would help getting more accurate and helpful content, reducing the need for repeated posts and improving user satisfaction.

When I look at my feed I want to see new content. Instead I see everything anyone has replied to no matter how old. I'm already following old posts I've already read and was interested in, so I get those as notifications. I think this would help new posts get traction and views instead of being buried under official posts and long running "Thanks for posting this" no-content replies.

To help get feedback, it would be good if the system would alert the original posted after X number of days if they found some of the responses helpful and/or if they found the correct solution to their issue. This would help in those cases were people post in the community, the community offers feedback, and the correct and/or helpful feedback may be given, but the original poster doesn't give feedback on what was provided to them.

I'm fishing around all these menus is to find out exactly HOW I can nominate someone for a community award. In the past I've received awards "nominated by the community" - but have no idea how anyone in the community nominates someone for an award.
So my suggestion is that community members can nominate another member for an award - and in fact, create an award type if necessary. In my case, there is a fairly new community member that I'd like to nominate for an award for "Writing clear and concise questions" - which are so much easier to answer than half thought out expressions of frustration which many questions appear to be.

Create a dashboard of open questions which is yet to be answered, separated by tags added with the questions like Routing, Switching, Enterprise, DNAC or have some other AI way of filtering tagging the questions and show that in dashboard, so that the user who can able to contribute/Answer will pick-up from their interest area and play around. An example provider of such classification is done for piestack.cisco.com an internal PyATS support/Questions forum helped by https://www.question2answer.org/. --> you can reach out to them to change the Cisco Community UI/Auto classification dashboards. https://www.q2amarket.com/ @q2amarket

I would love to have the option to search for posts which match specific criteria additinally to text.
E.g.:
- Search for posts with 0 Comments
- Search for posts without accepted solution
- Search for posts only with accepted solution and having keyword XY in them
I thought about a advanced filter box letting you choose "Search only for ports with accepted solution" by checkbox additionally to a free text search. That would help me so much!!!
