Folks,
I am trying to install ACD simulator in 4.6.2 environment and everytime i install the simulator and reboot, it brings the system down. Bascially after installation when i reboot, the system ( ICM Sprawler) comes back up and says that the system will shutdown in 4 minutes). I have 1 GB memory in my machine.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated,
Thanks

I'm assuming that you are getting a shutdown command. Can you stop this by typing 'stopshut' from the run line and/or CMD prompt?
Which ICM components can you run before the shutdown command launches? Try one at a time in this order: Logger, Router, AW, PG and then the sim. Which ACD are you trying to SIM? How many PGs do you have loaded on this one server?

Jeff,
I did use the stopshut, when i do that the SIM process stops.
At this point, I have nothing running on a pentium 4, 1000 MB RAM box. but, ACD Sim.
I would assume that 1 GB of RAM would be sufficient to run the SIM with 1 PIM.
Thanks,
Tarun

and look at the "Installing an ICM Sprawler" section.
How did you resolve your issue?
