Currently running AQM version 11.5.1.648. We are using the call recording feature and it works without issue. My question is regarding screen recording, which we have never implemented. We have an admin account configured for Remote Control Gateway and, I am of the understanding that this is needed for the screen recording feature. Can you validate or advise exactly what the Remote Control Gateway account would be used for if it is not for screen recording purposes.

The proxy pro host/Remote control gateway screen recording was used in the 10.5 release, I think that was the last version to use that method.
The 11.5 definitely does not use it
When you install the "Desktop Recording Service" you now see a single process

Yes, the remote control gateway is no longer available with the 11.5.X version since it uses WebM features.
Installing the screen recording plugin will establish a connection to the CTI Signalling/Base server and it records the screen.
This can also be noticed in the Desktop recording logs which will be in the local Logs folder in the Agent PC.
