Auto-Answer Configuration with workflow on UCCX

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to configure auto-answer in finesse with workflows in uccx. im following the below guide:

In its configuration it asks for a dialogID and an extension. what does this mean? From where do i get this dialogid and if i put in an agents extension, would the workflow only work for that one particular extension? I'm attaching the screenshot of the configuration where dialogID is required.

I normally configure Auto Answer when needed only on DN configuration in CUCM, but looking at the document you posted you simply leave the string variables as they are "dialogID" and "extension" and they get populated automatically when call arrives.  The preview section is only for testing it out where you fill in values for these variables.

Thanks for your reply Chris. i thought that as well and left it blank but the variables didnt get populated. and auto-answer didnt work either. 

Is there a reason you are not using "Auto-answer" setting on the phone DN configuration in CUCM?

The only reason for that is that by assigning auto-answer with uccx we can assign the workflow to teams rather than individual agents which is very helpful. because we have a scenario where we need auto-answer configured on some teams and not on others.
