AW can't start when router/logger run in simplex

During the deployment of IPCC 7.0, I find AW/real time distributor can't start if only one-side router/logger are up. 'updateAW' reports real time feed can't activated. If central controllers run in duplex, no such problem.

I did some tests, set router/logger in simplex mode, then start logger, router, AW without problem. Only ICM configured in duplex but running in simplex, will see this problem. Is this by design?

No, more than likely your AW is pointing to the side that is down to get it's data from. Run through setup for the AW and where you're pointing it to.
