Bandwidth Consideration

Precious

Hello Cisco family, I need some clarification regarding UCCX HA over the WAN bandwidth consideration, my setup is:

HQ with Pub-Sub-UCCX

DC with Sub-UCCX

Remote Branch with 20 agents (Finesse) and 2 supervisors

Please not that Remote Branch  is in a different country than HQ and DC. This is what I know:

UCCX to UCCX = 1.2Mbps

CUCM to CUCM = 1.544Mbps + 1.544Mbps (ICCS+Database)

UCCX to CUCM = 800Kbps

BHCA = 72Kbps per 100 calls (I have 600 calls)

Total Bandwidth = 5,488 (round off to 6Mbps)

My question is: Does this bandwidth include WFM, Quality Management and Wall-boards?

Your assistance would really be appreciated.

No, that does not include supporting applications such as call recording/QM, WFO, or wallboards. Each of those would have it’s own bandwidth calculations; however, WFO and wallboards are merely database queries. QM would also have CTI from both CCX and CUCM as well as the calls being recorded, of course.

Hi Jonathan thanks for the reply, is the a calculator like the Finesse calculator, of calculating bandwidth for these supporting applications such as call recording/QM, WFO, or wallboards?

You would need to ask the vendor you chose for those apps.
