Before installing Quality Management for recording

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to setup a recording solution using CCX, CUCM and Quality management.

Followed the documentation provided by Calabrio team, choosed the BiB recording model, and installed different requirements such as SQL server etc ..

My problem now when I try to install QM, I have the following message :Could not get a database connection: Server "IPaddress_Of_the_server" has no instance named MSSQLSERVER

the screenshot in the attachments section shows the error

Any idea what could be the problem ?

Hi,

Are you using an instance other than the default instance?

If you're using the default instance, you have to leave that field blank as per the documentation says.

Hi Can you make sure that the SQL server instance name you are running is exactly what you are  adding here in the configuration interface, below link shows how you can find the instance name.

Yes it's the exact same, found out that TCP/IP was disabled by default ...

Hi,

I fixed the issue finally, since i'm a newbie when it comes to SQL setup, found out that TCP/IP in the SQL manager was disabled by default and had to enable it manually after setting up the DB

I use the default Instance but didn't leave the instance name blank and passed just fine
