Hello -
After installing a thin app version of CAD, the user attempts to log-in and as the app is initializing, the user receives a pop up window stating there is a newer version avaiable. The choices at this point are 2, Press OK for the newer version or cancel. If you select OK, the start up errors out.
Is there a file that can be removed or another way to keep fCAD rom searching for a newer version?
Thanks...

Hi
Yep - it's not as easy as it could be.
You can download the MSI easy enough from the servers, then when you run it first time it tries to pull another MSI (not MST or whatever).
When you're setting up automatic deployment you need to ensure the two are installed, but in sequence.
Also the Contact Centre folks have to remember to let you know in advance when they apply Service Releases etc, or they will have unhappy users the day after!

Hi
The app is telling you that you need to update it to match the server. I don't think there's a (legit) way to suppress that check, and you shouldn't really.
When you update the CAD servers (UCCX or whatever) then you should update your clients to match.
Is there a reason not to do this?

Aaron -Thanks for your help with this issue.
I am learning that this is an internal fault and is most likely due to the way the "package" bacth file was developed and pushed out.
