CAD and CSD Java Dependency

What are the java version compatibility with Cisco Agent Desktop and Cisco Supervisor desktop?  Is there even a dependency on the java version for CAD and CSD or should the most recent version of java work? I have reviewed the installation guides for UCCX 9 and the system requirements did not state anything jave version for the normal cisco agent desktop, just the JRE information for CADBE which we do not run.  Any information would be helpful, Thanks!!

As far as JAVA dependency is concerned then it is mainly and mainly used for Agent email feature.

Thanks for the information so according to the link you sent me does CAD and CSD 9.0 will work with JRE 1.7.0_51 32 bit and later versions correct?

Absolutely why will it not. You might have to add some exceptions like below in JAVA Control Panel and that is not only from UCCX perspective but for any application with which you are facing JAVA issues at the runtime

1) Add the UCCX IP address in exception list

2) Set the security level to None or High based on the JAVA version you are using
