Is there anyway to know the number of rings during call setup between IP Phone and another IP Phone or a PSTN destination? I check CUCM CDRs but I found nothing, while this information is available in ICM HDS - Terminated Call details table.

It is under line settings of the DN in CUCM. Look at the screen shot.

Dear Saeed,
I do not know if my question is clear, I am talking about how many rings the caller heard during the call setup and if this number is written in the CDR or how we can know this number if not.
For example, you can call another IP Phone and the B-party answered after 4 rings ... is this reflected in the CDRs?

No, Cdr does have that info. 30 Sec = 6 rings. If that helps.

If I will use the difference between dateTimeOrigination" field and "
dateTimeDisconnect" for unsucessful calls, this will represent the duration between hook-off and hook-on but it will not mean that this time spent for ringing ( caller can hook off and waits before dialing )
So I think it is not what I am looking for
Thanks Saeed |
