Hello Everyone,
I currently have a single node UCCX server on version 9.0.2.10000-71 running on an MCS7845H2 physical server.
- Can I install a second UCCX node for HA on a virtual machine keeping the same version 9.0.2.10000-71 ?
NOTE: I do already have the OVA template installed and the ISO in my data store in vSphere
- In the near future I would like to migrate the MCS7845H2 (would be publisher) to a virtual machine.
- I do have all the necessary requirements met for HA such as DNS forward and reverse records, NTP and web-security infomation.
- I am licensed for HA, it is enabled.
Thanks everyone!

Yes, you can have mixed environment of one node virtualized and another on bare metal server as long as the backup server is the same or better specs.

Chris,
Thank you for response. So in my particular scenario my publisher is going to be on the bare metal server and the new virtual machine that i want to install is going to be virtual.
- would there be any issues between the two when i migrate the bare metal to virtual?
thanks again!

I was successful in deploying the subscriber node (VM) in HA with Publisher (Bare metal).
Thank you for the help!!
