Is there a way to change the label of a gadget? The label in the desktop layout is set too <label>finesse.container.tabs.supervisor.myGadget</label> This looks like it's meant to be set in the JS, can I? What about the color of the tab? Can I change that too?

Hi,
Do you mean the label of the gadget or label of the tab? To set the label/title of the gadget, you set that in the gadget's xml file and not the desktop layout.
If you want to change the label of the tab, you just put whatever the new name is in the <label> tag. What you see "finesse.container.tabs.supervisor.myGadget" is the key to the properties file to look up the locale specific text for that tab. This is only supported for the Finesse specific labels. If you want to change it, you just change the text to whatever you want, but it has to be in the specific locale.
For the colors, no, you cannot change the color.
Thanx,
Denise

So there is nothing in the library to change the <label> value in the JavaScript?
