Team,
We are facing few issues with NTP sync.
We are getting RTMT alerts form our CUIC and UCCX that NTP is down and the NTP is pointed to CUCM publisher.
When I check utils network ping to CUCM PUB it cna able to reach and all is fine but I am not sure why I am getting the alert.
We use UCCE 8.5
Can you please help me with a solution.
Regards

Sathya,
By just using the Ping result, you cannot ensure everything is working fine for NTP. Issue below command and see if the NTP is in sync or not:
utils ntp status
In case, if the time is not synchronized then issue below command to make it sync:
utlils ntp restart

Post the output of utils ntp status here. Also, go to Cisco Unified Operating System Administration >> Settings >> NTP Servers and check the status for the NTP server that you are using. In case, it shows The NTP service is unaccessible, then add a dummy NTP so that it will allow you to delete this one (in case you are only using single NTP server), add it back again and delete the dummy one.
After this, perform a utils ntp restart and wait for 5 - 10 minutes to run utils ntp status again and see if it helps.

Deepak
