I have this newly installed UCCX 7.0 needs to be integrated with CUCM 7.1. I followed the steps for the integration with axl user created. The

integration seems successful with the summary page. But when I checked in CUCM,  I don't see rmcm account get created, jtapi account was

created successfully. I did a data resync but still no luck. When I checked back in control center, The CCX engine is in partial service with

some important subsystem: RMCM subsystem is in "INITIALIZING" state, Unfiied CM Telephony Subsystem is "OUT _OF_SERVICE".

I tried restart the services but the same result.

Any help are appreciated.

the reason "Unfiied CM Telephony Subsystem" is "OUT _OF_SERVICE" is because the ports are not being registered to CUCM and the root of this problem is the RMCM user account.

Try the following

a) Delete the RmCM  and CTI manager application user from CUCM if present.

b) On the UCCX  CM telephony page create new CTI & RmCM user account (different name) and different password.

c) after the update reboot the UCCX machine and see if it helps

Thanks a lot Anuj for the help, things are getting better after I used a

different RmCM and CTI app username, I saw the new Rmcm user gets created in

CUCM, the RmCM subsystem is also back in service, I still see Unified CM

Telephony Subsystem OUT_OF_SERVICE, perhaps needs to finish up the

integration steps to make it in service.

I will give a try.

Thanks!

Qin,

Did you solve this?  If you haven't got your call control groups created, the telephony system isn't going to be up (nothing to come up).

Cliff

Yes. Thanks to Anuj's suggestion, the problem was fixed after using a

different rmcm name then re-created the CTI control point, the Unified CM

Telephony subsystem is back to service too.

Thanks for the suggestion though, Cliff.
