Hi All,
We have recently installed hosted IPCC contact center (IPCC 8.5, CVP 8.5, UCM 8.5), have installed the CUIC 8.5 and applied the proper licenses. Integration with Databases is fine, able to see all reports.
Now we are trying to integrate with Active Directory (windows 2008), have provided the following information
172.25.6.50 -- 389
172.25.26.50 -- 389
Manager distringuished Name - CN=Administrator, CN=users, DC=QTELIPCH, DC=COM
Manager Password : *****
User Search Base : CN=users, DC=QTELIPCH, DC=COM
attribute for User ID: userPrincipalName
Test connect is successful, but when synchronize now it is not pulling supervisor user IDs from Active Directory. If you any idea or suggestion please help us.
SYNCHRONIZE PAGE ALWAYS SHOW LAST RUN STATUS : PENDING

Hi
Do you have the awdb database set for both Real Time and Historical reporting in Data Sources?
You need to do a refresh on the UCCE Integration page to see the status change from pending to successful.

Hi
Firstly check to see if your supervisors are part of a team. If they are then try using the Global Catalog port 3268 instead of the ldap port 389 to connect to Active Directory.

Can you please elaborate some basic troubleshooting steps and relevant logs location which can give me evidance of exact problem.

Your users authenticate against Active Directory, they are not synchronized with it.
As Victor pointed out, the AWDB is where you should focusing your attention. Any UCCE supervisors that you have there (part of a team) will be replicated to CUIC and will automatically get a user account on CUIC.
Besides that you are ofcourse fine to manually create users in CUIC if you prefer. The LDAP User Search Base defines where in the AD domain CUIC will try to find the user accounts when they attempt to log in.
Cheers,
Kris
