CUIC Live Data Report templates Import procedure

Hi All,

I would need help to know Data source & Value List to import CUIC Live data report templates.

I have set live-data aw-access primary & data-sources on CUIC Live Data server, Now when i am going to import report templates, I see new entry Live Data Streaming under data sources.

So please let me know what need to select under Data sources & Value List to import report templates.

I followed below but could not imported

Data_Sources - Live data Streaming

Value_List - CUIC

Hi,

First check the data source status for Live data Streaming – Both the side should be connected

Then go to Reports – New- Import – Reports – Import Reports

Browse Live data ZIP file and save to Live data folder under stock.

No need to create any value list for live data

Hi Rama,

I have followed below configuration but Live Streaming data source is not showing active. I am using CUIC-IDS-LD on single server in Simplex mode of UCCE.

1. set live-data aw-primary
2. set live-data cuic-datasourse
3. On AW, checked into Machine Service table & showing entry for Live data server.
4. Downloaded CSR Certificate for tomcat & generated Root, Tomcat certificate from CA (Using 2012 Server) then uploaded back  root certificate for tomcat-trust & Tomcat certificate for tomcat onto CUIC-IDS-LD

5. Restarted CUIC-IDS-LD server.

6. I tried in IE, Chrome & Firefox. When i am going in data source using IE then it prompts me to accept certificate, I select there yes then after few seconds it shows red X.

7. I tried to telnet port12008 from any computer using putty but not getting connected. I have disabled firewall. Not using any ACL.

Please let me know if i am missing any thing here.

Try to access CUIC url from any UCCE or CVP ops  server ( Subnet should be  same range )  I hope between servers there is no Firewall .  IF fail try next action

Login to CUIC , Finesse and Live data – cmplatform (https://x.x.x.x/cmplatform/ - download CSR certificates from CUIC , Finesse and Live data and same has to be installed your Workstation or  CVP Ops server.

Try to telnet from CVP ops console – source CUIC IP  with 12008, 12005  ports . between CUIC  to your workstation may be  firewall block.

The rule is that the Value Lists should use the Real Time Data Source.

I don't think certificates are your problem. Yes, it will be nice to have them installed, but a browser like Firefox enables you to add an exception so don't focus on that.

You have to see the data sources for Live Data Streaming as active. Everything else is secondary.

Did you find my posts on the Machine Table - I posted a SQL query with multiple joins to enable you  look at the machine table in a readable way. Are all the TIP and TIP TOS ports connected.

Getting Live Data working can be pretty tricky. Sometimes it comes right up and you wonder "why are people saying this is hard" and other times it's endless frustration and you wonder "why can't Cisco make this a lot easier?"

We have all been there.
