CVP 8.0(1) installation Error

hi

I am installing CVP 8.0.1 and getting this error

unabel to launch application to set premission for CVP_HOME/config

I am installing CVP on windows 2003 SP2 with French language.

Have a look in the Installer logfile for more details :

C:\Temp\CiscoUnifiedCVPInstall.log

Not sure if this is locale related, couldn't immediately find a statement that Cisco only supports CVP on English Windows Server 2003s, that may be an issue. The error message seems to suggest that we don't have write permissions on the C:\Cisco folder though. Does your account have Administrator permissions on the machine ?

yes I used Administrator account, secondly I also tried by local admin as well as domain admin but it never worked. So i check installation guide of CVP and it says Windows Regional language option must be English . so I reinstalled windows 2003 with SP2 in english language and everything works fine CVP installation done without any issue.

So I finally reached this point that issue was because of french windows .

Please you aslo check this in your cisco lab.
