CVP Network Trunk Group - 300 Peripheral ID?

Gerry O'Rourke

I notice (see attached), that PCCE 11 includes configuration for CVP trunk ID in ICM for 100, 200 and 300.

I understand what the Peripheral ID 100 and 200 are for.

Anyone know what, why and when Peripheral ID 300 is used?

I don't see it in any of the CVP Configuration guides.

Gerry,

It's used for trunk utilisation reporting.  If you go into the add/configure a gateway help page in CVP OAMP you'll see brief mention of it there.

Paul,

Thank you.

So just to summarise and help others - this is my understanding.

ICM Network Trunk Group Explorer

Peripheral Number 100 - New Calls into CVP -

Peripheral Number 200 - Pre Routed Calls into CVP Call Server - Calls into CVP Callserver with Correlation ID

Peripheral Number 300 - Gateway Trunk Reporting.

Not 100% sure but I believe / assume that the Gateway Trunk reporting counts the VRU legs on the VXML Gateway.

And not Gateway PSTN calls?

Gerry

It's intended for ingress gateway trunk utilisation.  I'm not 100% sure whether you could also use it for VRU leg utilisation.

Paul
