Dialed Number Pattern vs local static route in CVP

Hello, What are the benefits of using Dialed Number Pattern versus creating Local static routes for each call server under SIP. I understand Dialed Number Pattern gets applied globally but trying to understand when you would use one versus the other. We have a global deployment spanning all three regions with 2 call servers in each region controlled through a single OAMP.

If you're referring to Override System Dialed Number Pattern Configuration, that's only supposed to be used for upgraded CVP servers, not new ones. If you click it, you will get a message that says.

This service is retained to enable the Dial Pattern configuration on previous releases of CVP. Please use the option to configure Dial Number Pattern provided under System Menu
