Hi List;
What are the types in the DNP? Any one can advise me by a link to know about these DNP types?

Bilal,
What do you mean by DNP? I am a little bit lost.

Hi Juan;
DNP is: Dialed Number Plan, and it is used in transfer funtionalities and so on.
DNP is administered in the Bulk Configuration tool on the ICM Administrative Workstation. All DNP entries for a particular PIM are downloaded to the PIM upon PIM startup.
So, what is the DNP type now :)?

Bilal,
You can control the outbound dial access of the agents from the Agent Desktop Application prior to send the call to CallManager.
With the DNP Type you indicate with type of call is associated with the pattern set up in DNP. You can restrict these types of outbound call from the 'Agent Desk Settings' in Configuration Manager.
Hope this helps,
Juan Luis

Hi Juan;
So the DNP is used only for the outbound? Please advise.
But as I know that the CallManager calling search spaces override my desk settings, the question is: where in the calling search space I can also allow the outbound calls to pass?

Bilal

Bilal,
The DNP rules apply to an outbound call when this call is initiated from the CTI OS custom desktop or from CAD. If the agent dials from the IP phone these DNP rules doesn't apply.
So if the agent dials from the agent application, the dial string is matched against the DNP patters. ICm apply the rules and scripts needed and if apply, then passes the call to CallManager, where the Calling Search Space rules and transformatiosn are applied.
Hope this helps,
Juan Luis
