I have a UCCE 8.0 with CVP. Recently we moved from CTIOS to CAD. After install CAD on the PG's we are getting the following errors on the AW/HDS
"Login failed for user ". The user is not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection."

Sounds like the sync server in CAD is not set up correctly.
This service pulls data from the AWDB and synchronizes the data into the LDAP. When you ran the PostInstall it would have asked you for a SQL connection to the AW. How did you specify this? If you have mixed authentication on the AWDB (always my recommendation) you could have created a read-only user with name and pwd and set that. If you used Windows Authentication there may be issues with the trust.
Simply try to create an ODBC DSN on the CAD box with the AWDB credentials you used and test the data source.
Look in the sync server logs - bet there are lots of errors. Surely the LDAP is not showing any teams, agents etc (use Desktop Admin to see).

Geoff

Hi Geoff,
When I created the ODBC connection to AWDB it worked with the creentials I used during the CAD install.
How do I check on the AWDB which authentication is either mixed or NT ?
Thanks.

Well, the point is moot if you could create an ODBC connection with the credentials. But for your info
Do you see agents and teams in Desktop Admin?
Can you "Synchronize Directory Services" after adding a new team and then see it in CAD?
If so, the warning seems benign.

Geoff

Yes I can see agents and supervisors in the Desktop Admin and also sucessfully Synchronize Directory Services.
