Extend ring timer in CUBE.

Hi folks,

 

Help!

Agent - Avaya - CUBE - PSTN - Customer

Agent on Avaya platform dialing mobile no. While ccsip debug I see CANCEL event sent by CUBE to telco. because of session timer expiry. PFA sh run. (Customer and far end names are hidden)

 

I had 2 test calls Good Call and Bad Call. Good Call is call answered within 3 rings. Bad Call is call not answered in 3 rings and call disconnected with ISDN CC 102.

 

I tried changing INVITE retry to 3 under sip-ua but no luck. Please suggest.

Does he carrier respond with a 100 Trying, 180/183?

Including a “debug ccsip messages” would help.

Apology in late response. I googled and found the cause of issue "RTCP timer expiry causing Request timeout event". I fixed the problem by extending/increasing the rtcp timer in CUBE.

 

I analyzed 5 SIP calls debugs and observed was uneven signalling messages i.e. in few calls 180 Ringing events is visible in few it wan't. So same concern is raised with Telco to look into it. Case from 1 logs, Call with CANCEL response to INVITE, i see 15-20 secs after CANCEL invite is sent by CUBE to TELCO.

 

The call disconnection with 408 request Timeout is no more seen and customer has accepted the solution of increasing RTCP timer.
