Finesse Agent logout when browser shutdown

In our environment if an Agent is running Internet Explorer and closes down IE while still logged into Finesse, they will stay logged in and won't automatically get logged out until around 3 minutes has passed. The same happens with Firefox.

Is anyone aware of a way to change a setting to reduce this timeout so that they get logged out straight away?

I am not aware if there is a way to change it as the behavior is per design in case an agent accidentally closed the browser to give him/her time get back in.
