Finesse - Generic Unable To Login

For Cisco ICRS Finesse - softphone is successfully acquiring Device ID, but receiving "Generic Unable to Login"

You'll have to provide a little more information for people to offer suggestions, like what version of Finesse, confirmation that you're able to see the phone display but it is Finesse that is displaying this error, do all other agents work OK, do physical phones work but not softphone, what type of softphone are you using (IP Communicator? Jabber? something else) etc.
