Finesse Outbound Call from Finesse

Hi All,

I am trying to make a call from finesse i.e. a 4 digit DN configured on CUCM.

 Call flow:

DN-->CUCM(route pattern)-->CVP-->ICM

The call can go through only if I prefix 01 to my 4 digit DN. else the call fails saying error. When checked into the translation pattern, I can see 01XXX configured which translates to route pattern XXXX and points to CVP.

I wanted to know how the Finesse tries to make a call.

You can think of Finesse as a remote control of your phone. So it would make a call as if called by the phone.

Unless they have a custom call control gadget like that provided by 2Ring, in which case, no one would know unless they saw the solution first hand. But, yeah, I like the remote control analogy nonetheless; I use that too.
